Expertise in instrument care and handling is a requirement for satisfying safety standards and financial limitations.

Building on our proprietary Instrument inspections, Stille offers edcuation programs aimed at training hospital staff in proper and preventive instrument care. For instance, it is important to know how manufacturing processes and materials affect the instruments and why stainless steel rusts. Are you and your colleagues handling your instruments optimally? Do you really understand why stainless steel rusts? Our instrument care training program can help you improve your knowledge and maximize the durability and life of your instruments and ensure patient safety.

The training program, conducted over 2 days, covers the following:
- Instrument manufacture (factory visit)
- Science of engineering and materials
- Corrosion
- Discoloration
- Handling instructions for sterilization unit
- Handling instructions for clinics
- Instrument service

Location: Eskilstuna, Sweden

The training program is primarily intended for surgery and sterilization staff in the Swedish healthcare sector but is open to anyone who is interested in the field and is employed in the healthcare sector.
